Woodruff Fontaine House

Rising from ancient magnolia trees, the Woodruff-Fontaine House stands as a reminder of an era long gone. This beautiful FrenchVictorian mansion was built in 1870 along “Millionaires Row.” The mansion, home to two prominent Memphis families, was deeded to the city in 1936 and stood vacant for several years. The Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities rescued the house in 1962 and restored it to its former splendor. – exerpt from woodruff-fontaine.com

Good evening, Michael,

Please consider adding Woodruff-Fontaine House Museum to your venues. We are in a rennaissance period , as next year the home turn 140! A personal goal in to include WF in ALL communities. I can’t wait for the day we have a same sex wedding or union ceremony on the front steps of the mansion…if you have any ideas for us, please let me know. As soon as I have the chance I would love to include “Gay Victorian” project I’ve been working on for the community….hope to speak with you soon.
