Friday, May 27th

6pm – 8pm : 2011 River Arts Fest Poster Launch Party, Memphis College of Art Nesin Graduate School, 477 South Main Street. Honoring the 2011 RAF Artist: Dolph Smith “A Tennessee Treasure” winner of the 2011 Governor’s Artist Award

6:30pm – 9:30pm : Memphis Zombie Massacre 2011, Downtown Memphis. When Hell is full, the dead will walk the streets of Memphis. We’re coming back for a fifth year of brain-slurping mayhem. So hide your children, hide your wife, hide your husband — because we’re eating everybody’s brains up in here.

7:00pm – 1:00am : Memphis Hates You Fest 2011 (day 1) The HiTone Cafe, 1913 Poplar Ave: Galaxicon, Process of Suffocation, Ragpicker,
Cremains, Epoch of Unlight, Incineration, &Sons of Tonatiuh

10pm – 3am : BUMP @ the Pump, 1382 Poplar Avenue. BUMP is the city’s newest nightlife experience. It goes down each month – the last Friday to be exact. DJ Nathan Ashby will be throwing down his signature thump that you know and love. Make plans to attend, invite a friend, and spread the word Memphis!

10pm – 3am : BASS FREAK Episode:1, Newbys (539 South Highland St)

Saturday, May 28th

7:00pm – 1:00am : Memphis Hates You Fest 2011 (day 2) The HiTone Cafe, 1913 Poplar Ave: Saurus, The Heavy Eyes, TWAR, Hosoi Bros, The Dirty Streets, Gypsy Hawk, &Music Hates You

10pm – 3am : Richard James & The Special Riders. Also special guests The Echo Friendly. The Cove Bar 2559 Broad Ave. Come on by to see two kick ass bands. If you’ve never seen Richard James and the Special Riders play at the Cove it’s a sight to behold. $5 Cover. Doors at ten.

8pm – 5am : Spectrum Memphis is having an “Ask & Tell” Party. Military I.D’s get in free. Camo Attire Welcome Come Salute Our Soldiers! Proceeds to benefit the Memphis Gay & Lesbian Community Center!

Sunday, May 29th

10:30am – 3pm : Jazz Brunch at Boscos with Joyce Cobb.

5pm – 8pm: Sunday Pump It Up! at The Pumping Station (1382 Poplar Avenue)

Church that you usually attend : Christian friends you got a job to do this Sunday. Be brave and be bold and speak out DURING your service in support of LGBT rights. I hear a lot about good Christians but I don’t hear a lot about this changing the churches that remain anti-LGBT on Sunday morning. If you are apart of an already pro-LGBT church, good for you. The rest of you, balls up and fight the fight. Please, silence and passivity is not helping.

7:00pm – 1:00am : Memphis Hates You Fest 2011 (day 3) The Buccaneer Lounge, 1368 Monroe Ave: The Unbeheld, GR Robinson + band, Youniverse, Tanks, Dead-I-On, Chinamen, &Blackset
