In all my crazy opinions of the catholic religion, I do know that a priest from my home town was the first to tell me I was ok and not committing any sin by loving another man. He was a great man… he loved his alcohol but never had anything but inspiring kind words for me while I was struggling with my family over my sexuality in high school. It saddens me that the leaders in this church, at it’s home base in Rome, won’t just allow for a positive discussion concerning homosexuality. Anyway, here is the article, enjoy…
